Welcome Back Families!!

Our 2026-2027 school year will run from September 14, 2026 - June 11, 2027. We will loosely follow the NYC DOE calendar, with breaks in December, February, and April. The first week of school in September 2026 will consist of a phase in period, offering shorter classes and smaller groups for all children, with an adult/caregiver welcome to support separation and building comfort in our new environment.

Re-Enrollment Updates:

-We’re adding programs for toddlers, ages 12-17 months and 18-23 months, beginning in September of 2026.

• 1/2 day programming for ages 12-17 months with 2, 3, 5 day options are available.

• 1/2 day and full day programming for 18-23 months, 2, 3, 5 day options are available.

• Classes for toddlers will go out locally daily for walks and exploration at Pacific Park and the community garden.

-Programs for 2 year olds (children must be 2 by 9/14/26)  are offered for full days only.

• 2, 3, & 5 day options.

• Minimum 1 park trip per week, possibly 2 depending on number of days enrolled 

-Programs for 3s (3 by 12/31/26) and 4/5’s (4 by 12/31/26) are offered for full days only

• 5 days a week only

• Two Prospect Park trips per week. 

-For our Extended day program there’s now two options for pick up time, 4:30 PM and 6 PM. Each priced accordingly.

Class Sizes:

• 12-17 months (capped at 8 kids) *Must be 12-17 months by September 14, 2026

• 18-23 months (capped at 9 kids) *Must be 18-23 months by September 14, 2026

• 2s (10-12 kids) *Must be two by September 14, 2026

• 3s (capped at 12 kids) *Must be three by December 31, 2026

• 4/5s (capped at 12 kids) *Must be four by December 31, 2026
  
  

Pricing: This year we’re able to offer returning families a discounted rate on standard day enrollment if you enroll by December 19, 2025. The discounted rates can be found below. Enrollments that are processed after the December 19, 2025 date will be billed at the regular, general public rate. To see the general public rates click HERE.

Enrollment Request Form, Tuition Agreement, & Deposit

• Families must complete the enrollment request form found on the bottom of this page. It must be received no later than Friday, December 19, 2025 for prioritized enrollment and discounted pricing. 

• Once the enrollment request is received, families will be sent the 2026-2027 tuition agreement noting the annual tuition obligation, as well as an invoice to submit the registration fee and 10% deposit. Both must be completed within 7 days of receipt to officially secure their child’s place for 2026-2027.

• Completing the Tuition Agreement and submitting the deposit will officially secure a child’s place for the 2026-2027 school year, as well as commit their family to the full tuition due for the 2026-2027 school year.

Additional Notes:

• Incoming siblings of current families will also receive prioritized enrollment. If enrolling more than one child, please fill out an application for each.

• We understand that some families may not be able to commit by the December 19, 2025 deadline.  Please note, applications that are received after December 19, 2025 are not guaranteed placement, will not be eligible for the discounted tuitions rates, and will be reviewed based upon availability.

• There is a possibility of mixed age classes (i.e older 3s and younger 4s together). This is dependent upon a variety of factors, including the number of families enrolled, the ages of the children enrolled, and group dynamic.

• An updated health form and immunizations are required for all children to attend Wonderforest.
